Tsuut’ina First Nations Adapted Children’s Book

Posted: September 30, 2021

On this historic, first Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada, we would like to acknowledge the dedication, expertise and creativity of the following health care providers in adapting the Craving Change children’s book, ‘Is this stomach, mouth or heart hunger?’ for their Tsuut’ina First Nations community and schools.

Alleycia Onespot – health promoter and illustrator

Chalsea Onespot, health promoter

Amy Neufeld, registered dietitian

The First Nations Adapted Children’s Book is written in English with several Tsuut’ina language substitutions. The book’s illustrations are adapted to represent the Tsuut’ine  First Nations people and their environment.
